Ultimate GT-R Lap Battle!

Thursday, July 31st, 2008

Here is a video to rule them all; which version of the GT-R is the best? The Bee*Racing R32, not sure who’s R33, MCR’s famous R34, and a base model R35 battle it out to see who’s the quickest. Look at how well composed the R35 is in the battle, which probably helps the monster keep up with the ‘classic’ Godzillas. Please note that all of the cars in this video are heavily modified, minus the stock R35.

GT-R Spec V

There are/were rumors on several GT-R based websites about this photo being the next Spec V. People are claiming that the new Spec V will post 7:25 lap times at the Nurburgring. That’s blazing fast, in case you were wondering. Nissan dropped the weight to 3,615 lbs, and the Spec V is expected to make roughly 520 horsepower.

Porsche 997 vs Nissan GT-R

Saturday, July 19th, 2008

Best Motoring puts the Porsche 997 against the Nissan GT-R. The Porsche gets a considerable head start, yet the GT-R manages to not only pass the 997, but pull a considerable lead against the 997.

This video truly demonstrates the power of the GT-R. Its amazing how it does so well compared to a much more expensive Porsche. As you can see in the video, the 997 is very squirrelly on the track. The GT-R is nice and stable, which is why it easily overtook the 997 in only 3 laps.
